Kristine Irving is the Creative Director and Founder of Koo de Kir. Her interiors have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Renovation Style, New England Home, Boston Magazine, The Boston Globe, Travel + Leisure, Departures, Lucky and Domino, among others. Kristine has commented on or contributed to stories on design, the retail industry and home furnishings in The New York Times, USA Today, and The Boston Globe. She's made television appearances on Chronicle, The Food Network and NECN as a guest on topics related to design, retailing and entertaining. At age 19 Kristine launched her first business as a full time college student. That drive is something she brings to each and every client she serves. Never looking back, her life's work is design, retail and successful communication through design. Her award winning retail store, also named Koo de Kir, helped establish and bolster Kristine's position in the design industry. With projects from Boston to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kristine oversees all aspects of the firm's day-to-day operations.
Caitlin Berger is California raised and Boston educated. She re-joined (more on that in a moment) Koo de Kir after a stint in New York pursuing dual careers in acting and design. Her time at Celerie Kembal Interiors helped cement Caitlin's passion for interior design. Lucky for us, after a stint in PR, upon her return from New York, Caitlin contacted Koo de Kir looking to grow her career in the interior design world. Previously employed with our retail store division, her return to Boston was a winning move for us. In her role as Project Manager Caitlin oversees all aspects of the execution of our construction and interior architecture projects.
